Are you our new Quality Assurance Specialist?

Are you passionate about ensuring top-quality standards in the feed industry, and do you have experience in Feed or Food Quality Management? Then we are looking for you!

🚀 Your mission: Ensuring compliance with quality standards and maintaining the Quality Management System across our trading companies in the Balkan region.

As a Quality Assurance Specialist at Duynie, you will play a key role in focusing on overseeing QA activities across our trading companies in the Balkan region, including Romania and Bulgaria. You will be part of and work closely with the broader European QA team, contributing to various quality-related tasks. Part of your responsibilities will involve visiting (potential) suppliers to ensure compliance with Feed Law and additional market requirements. Additionally, you will provide guidance and support to suppliers on quality-related matters, including those related to products sold into biogas.
You will also be responsible for maintaining and coordinating the Quality Management System (QMS) of our companies in this region. This encompasses HACCP, monitoring, procurement procedures, and other critical aspects of quality management.

In this broad role you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Serving as the QA Specialist for Duynie in Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia, Romania, and Bulgaria;
  • Maintaining and developing the Quality Management System (QMS);
  • Providing support to the organization on quality-related questions, such as implementing new suppliers and ensuring proper registration;
  • Assist suppliers with quality-related issues;
  • Maintain the QA part of our ERP system;
  • Conducting supplier audits to ensure compliance.
What are you taking with you?

We are looking for an Quality Assurance Specialist with the following characteristics:

  • A problem solving and proactive attitude;
  • A minimum Bachelor-level education in the field of Agricultural or Food Technology;
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in Feed or Food Quality Management;
  • Fluent in English. Other European languages are considered an advantage;
  • Willingness to travel;
  • HACCP certification and experience in (internal) auditing is a plus.
